S&W 1911 model 108282 rear sights

Looking to replace the factory fixed rear sights on my S&W 1911 model 108282 45acp pistol. Does anyone know who makes and or sells a fully adjustable rear sight that will fit this pistol?
Any help would be welcome, thank you all in advance.

Brownells carry several fully adjustable rear sights for 1911's. Check out their web site and then give them a call. They will be happy to outfit you with whatever you need and be able to tell you whether or not the sight you decide on will work with your issue front sight.

Careful, You're going to want Novak cut sight for that gun. Brownells has a few that will fit but I'd recommend Dawson Precision. I used them on my first 282. . As I recall I had to change the front to match as the adjustable rear is taller. Very pleased with the set though. I used a FO in the front and basic black target in the rear. The tech guys at Dawson were very helpful in helping me figure out what sizes I needed. Great prices too. On my second 282, it had a tendency to shoot low but I wanted fixed sights there so I just did the math to calculate the right height of the front sight and stoned it down till it was right. Shoots POA now.

Can you tell me what the specs are on the rear duck-tail cut of the S&W 1911 model 108282?, i'm asking because STI makes a Novak cut fully adjustable rear sight, that will fit the 65 degree by .495 rear cut.

1911 Smith & Wesson Novak Cut

Does anybody know what the sight cut dimensions are on a Smith & Wesson 1911 Pro Series? They are supposed to be a Novak Cut, but apparently it is some non-standard cut that there are few sights that will fit without a lot of custom millwork. This is a fine handgun, but not being able to find something as simple as a good set of night sights that will fit has really pissed me off with buying anything more made by Smith & Wesson.
