Howdy Folks:
Just got this little sweetie and I noticed that the numbers on the inside of the
cylinder crane don't match the serial number. The serial number M129XXX
dates this revolver to 1979. The number stamped on the cylinder crane: 11781
is also found on the butt frame under the stocks. Am I correct to assume that
this is just an assembly control number, to assure that the various parts stayed
together during assembly?

This little unit has a couple of small blemishes, but over all it is in beautiful
condition. I'm going to enjoy many days of plinking with this one I think. :D

The nickel gun shown below is a Model 34-1. It goes ptarmigan hunting with me every year.

The blued 2" is a Model of 1953 .22/32 Kit Gun (no model number).

Looks a lot like mine...serial M144XXX,...shipped November, 1980:

All things considered, I think I like your square butt version better than my round biputt version!!

Best Regards, Les

Thanks guys:
While I like the way the square butt fits my hand, I've always preferred the
looks of the round butt J-frame snubbies: they look more compact.
