I don't think you'd find many that have owned or shot a 3913 that simply don't love these guns. A lot has already been discussed on this matter:
Let me google that for you

Me? I have a 3913 Lady Smith and it is one sweet piece!

I recently bought a 3913 used from gunbroker. This pistol was in bad shape IMO when I got it, cleaned up ok but is still the worse shape of any of my other pistols. That being said, I have had it to the range a few times, shoots well, feels good, and I have no problem carrying it and depending on it.

Nice little pistol, shoots at least as well as my 5906.

The 3913s are very reliable and durable guns. We used to have a large number of them in use at my job due to the 5906 being our issued duty weapon, the 3913 was a natural as a BUG, detective or off-duty gun.

The 3913 is a excellent choice as a CCW.I have a Chief's Special in 9mm because the shorter frame is more comfortable with my smaller hands. That is the only difference between it and the 3913.

I have a 3913 and a 6904. Both are virtually the same size, the frame width of the 3913 being narrower due to the single stack magazine. I prefer the curved backstrap of the 6904, but the size and balance of the 3913 makes it my daily carry gun. Having both of these guns means I can use the same holster for either one. I also have a magazine adapter so I can use 59 series magazines in the 6904, giving it a full 15+1 capacity. I'm not sure if there is a magazine adapter for 39 series magazines to use in the 3913.

I love my 3913, it carries like a dream and shoots even better. I use it for IDPA and USPSA.

Great little CCW guns. I have 2 and both are reliable, accurate, and carry unobtrusively.

Although, I am sort of partial to their big brother 457S if I feel I need something in 45ACP, say in winter.

Safearm, my 3913 accepts all single stack 39-series magazines. No adapter required. On the infrequent occasion I carry a 9, the spare mag in my pocket is a 3906 9-rounder.

Hey Datsun, how did the smithing work out on your gun?

It came out great, everything is jeweled internally, it has about a 3.5 pound single and roughly a 5.5 pound double trigger pull and the reset is so quick and clean. I was running double taps the other day like a sewing machine. The breech face and feed ramp are so smooth and polished I can see myself in them. Re-cutting the crown vastly improved the accuracy. I can hold a 2 inch group with no problem now if I do my part. Its a very different gun from stock.

I traded my M&P9c for mine. I am not sorry even though the M&P is a fine tupperware if you like them.
