Ok gents...at a pawn shop (the story of my life...)
Spied a 60-2 snub. They wanted $549 plus tax..
Had these Pachmayr 'Gripper' grips that would go well on my S&W 60-15 for hiking.
Just out of curiosity I looked at it.
Tight, in good shape. Someone put red nail polish on the front sight.
But.. there was this marking.. NY-1... Yes NYPD. But SA hammer worked fine. Did some googling and it turns out they sent them all back cause if you cut the hammer spur off they had misfires.
Something like 2500 made.
Well I talked them down to $520, tax included.
It's on lay-a-way now!
Any idea what they are worth now days?
