I got a S&W 669 from a friend that had retired and moved to Bogata. It's been setting around for several months and I took it to the range just to see how it shot. I was fairly impressed with the how it worked as a back up or as a causual carry. I liked the half hammer design and wonder why that isn't used in more pistols manufactured today. It is either hammer or no hammer. Your thoughts on the hammer question or this pistol would be appreciated
