A 908 is the economy version of the 3913. I have one and I like it.

In addition.... It has some plastic parts instead of metal.

I've owned a 909, 910 and 915 and had no issues. The frames are not machined as much as the full line guns, so a plastic holster might not fit. I had an Uncle Mike's kydex holster that the 909 would not fit into.

Plain finish, gun will last forever.

The 908 slide is not contoured like a 3913, it is blocky. The sights are plastic and do not interchange between the models. The sights, guide rod, magazine release are plastic in the 908. The 908 does not have an ambidextrous safety.

I have owned two each 908's and 3913's and they are nice guns. I now own and carry the DAO version, the 3953. I like it the best of all. The DAO pistols are not popular in my area, resale values are below the other models.

light, concealable, accurate, and reliable with everything I've fed it. I love mine. It's my goto carry gun when my 1911 is to bulky for what I'm wearing
