S & W Close Assault Weapon

I got these two covers from Smith & Wesson back in the 1980's. I don't think this proposal ever came to pass. Sure would have been a nice find. My wife works with the Defense Department and she did a search years ago. The search came up blank. Maybe someone else can have some luck.

I heard something about that seemingly 20 years ago, perhaps. I believe it was a 12 gauge shotgun system, and there were drawings, and the person who told me about it claimed he saw a prototype, but I am not certain the information was reliable.

I was going to say they're beautiful on the inside but really they arent compared to an S&W.



I was a little sad the PDF was only the cover this looks interesting. I wonder if it was like H&Ks CAWS that used brass shot shells?
