S&W Cuff Links & Lapel Pin

Anyone ever see these before:

I've had them sitting with my gun stuff for years and was wondering where they came from. The cuff links ar 3/4" and the lapel pin is 1/2". They look nice, but appear to be some type of inexpensive coated metal.

Are these some kind of promotional items S&W used to give their dealers?

i have them in my collection of S&W stuff. there where
also a money clip and a tie clip....

I have a 3/4" like the cuff links, it has a pin with clutch back. I bought off of eBay and plan to inlay it in the lid of a custom made presentation case.

When I bought them, I was thinking something similar. Maybe inlay them on some custom grips.

I take it they are not worth much, so using them for this purpose is not a bad idea.

The item on the right is a "stickpin", not a lapel pin; you use them with a necktie like a tietack, but higher, so they are visible above the vest of a three piece suit. They are more like a 40's item than a 70's, although the case suggests yours is 70's manufacture.

Thanks for the info OP. I think they were wearing 3 piece suits in the '70s too. Maybe they were avacado colored and made of polyester, but many leisure suits included a vest....

They are from the 1970's. Look in a 1970's S&W Collectables catalog, not the standard catalog, this was only a couple of pages. They were sold along with tie's, playing cards, cross pen and pencil sets and desk sets.

I won a set of those cuff links along with some others that look like 1911's at a match back in the early 1980's.

That stick pin sure would look great with my S&W neck ties that I have new in the box. I won the neck ties in a match in 1974.
