Two of my lovelies could use a little attention. A 4" 29-2 that was apparently drop-kicked on concrete and has a rough place (putting it a bit mildly) on one cylinder flute. This gun also has some roughness or drag in the action for some reason - nothing I can see a reason for internally. I'd like to get a tune-up/reblue.

Similarly a 27-2 5" with thinned blue on trigger guard and a few other spots, action not as smooth as could be.

Would you worthies recommend a trip to the S&W factory for what I want done, Ford's, or ???

How much do you think S&W would charge for said work?

Thanks for your input.
