S&W has finally released the latest generation of SHB's with PC Sear's!

C4, site says you're out of the new slide lock release (I need to hit my $50 minimum).
I really don't need anything else...any chance you have some NOT in inventory?

We just sold out of them, but more are always on order.

SHB and TS are pretty common acronyms if you have been around the M&P pistol for any length of time.

Only a couple of years. And I'm not an armorer, & I doubt that a bunch of them are reading this thread. If you look at the thread I'm not the only one that wasn't hip to the "lingo".:D

What is funny is that we (and a lot of other folks) use these terms on the dedicated M&P forum, M4C, Calguns, etc and very few to no one ever asks what they mean. Strange.

Gun forums are FULL of acronyms for all kinds of things. The more you are on them, the more they make sense I guess.

My MP9C was built Dec 2013
I had the S&W Armorer at the LGS install the APEX FSS and Trigger
It is almost like a 1911
Since it was built in Dec 2013 does this mean I can add a TS
or would I have to add this new SHB
In addition
Here is a pic
Will the frame accept the TS

Your frame has the cut outs so you can add a TS to your pistol. You would also need to buy the TS, TS plunger and plunger spring.

S&W started putting the Performance Center Sear's in their SHB's over 6 months ago, but wouldn't sell them as a complete unit until now! So for those of you have the older SHB's with the small sear plunger and want to upgrade, this would be the one to get!

These will also accept the TS components so that you can add a TS to your pistol (assuming it has the frame cutouts for it).

I got this model. I shaved the bump off the back. Almost as good as an Apex Tactical sear, that way. But you have to not take off too much. I am still a huge fan of Apex. I just did this to hold me over til my sear gets dropped off.

I think you could safely say I'm on this Forum quite a bit. My only point is that if you want everybody to understand what you're talking about you should spell it out. We're not all armorers here & like I said, I wasn't the only one that didn't understand what you meant. When you publish an "Armorers Guide To Acronyms", I'll be sure to get one.:D

Sure. I spend so much time talking on forums, e-mail and PM's that I abbreviate a lot of things. If people don't know what they are, they are free to ask and I will gladly answer!

I am hoping that since my frame has the plugs that the SHB has the slots
Is there any way to tell by looking from the top or side without having to take the SHB out of my gun

Typically speaking yes.

Well I was at the LGS and the Smith Armorer said all I would need are the safety--the plunger and spring and he ordered them
Be installed in a couple of days
Thanks for all the help
