S&W Model 360J 38 Cal Only Thread

Alnamvet38: No wonder you did so much research on this item, which I read on a more recent 360J thread. This is truly "the gun that never was." I`would purchase one instantly, as I did with the 337 and 342 Ti's.

The 342 had an annoying finish that peeled off when I used Gunscrubber to flush the insides, otherwise, it is all I could want in a pocket job. No such finish on the 337.

Oh, and by the way, you really know guns.

Stay safe, partner.

bluedot37: Poster 'wreck91' on 12-27-12 opened a thread "S&W 360 .38 Spl". This is where you'll find Alnamvet68's history of the 360. Makes for interesting reading.

That Gunscrubber stuff can be harsh (and the fumes will kill ya!) on the sensitive finishes. BreakFree or Ballistol work best, and I've heard that FrogLube is quite good too.

The 360 is a very nice J-frame, and a lot less prevalent than other J offerings.

I have been watching this thread and not seeing many replies. Figured I would post a picture of mine. It's my first revolver and I couldn't be happier.
