S&W model 41 ,need help,and pisture

Need help to put my Model 41 S&W back toghter again. I have a older model, that wanted to in stall a scope on, I should have ask before I started knocking out pins. but any way, there is a fine wire spring in front of trigger gaurd, what does this do? and which way does it go back in? is there a picture of that any where, Thanks .
