S&W Semi-Auto Picture Thread

SmithNut......could you tell me where I could get the S&W poker chips?

These were given away at the S&W booth at the Shot Show a few years ago. I believe you can find complete poker sets for sale on the S&W website as well, but they are costly IIRC.

Just checked the S&W site and can't find them, but did a search and found this:

my new 1066

Here is my new 1066 safe queen. I have been trying to buy this from a very close family friend of mine for the past several years. He finally gave in, only 20 rounds fired through it shortly after he first bought it and I was with him then with my new at the time 1006. Got the box, cleaning kit and the remainder of the origninal 30 round box of ammo. You gotta love these all metal SMITHS !

That is a fine looking 1066. Not a blemish....

Thanks bkp3gen. Yeah she looks like it just rolled out of the factory.Never holstered or anything. He just shot it soon after he orderd it to make sure it function then cleaned it up and put it back into the safe.He would bring it out occasionaly to clean it . Its a shame smith dont make and market many of these 3rd generations anymore. A TRUE SHAME

I agree.....the 3rd gens have a special place in my heart. While I have a couple of tupperware guns (which I like very much) I really like the all metal pistols. They have a very unique feel.....maybe I am just an old fart.....;)

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum - this is my first post here. I saw this thread when I opened the Semi-auto area and thought I'd post a couple of pictures of my well used and much beloved 4506. This pistol is more accurate than I am by a good margin and has proven itself 100% reliable after several thousand rounds. It was carried for a while and shows a bit of wear - gives it character. This is easily my favorite .45ACP!

Just because Obama has no intention of taking your guns away doesn't mean your not paranoid.

All this fear mongering paranoid BS has done is drive the price of ammo and guns up... if you can even get ammo... and done more damage to our sport than all the antigun organizations put together.

We have seen the enemy and it is us!

I agree with this.
