and califorinia just keeps electing em
Years ago there was a situation where a guy had his gun and the magazine it was designed for would only hold the 10 rounds..However it was also capable of shooting another type of cartridge in it that had just enough shape to it that the magazine would take the 11th round..Even though he was shooting the intended rounds in it that would only hold 10..They were trying to bust him just because it had the capability..
I have had to buy some 10 round mags for my 9mm hipower and a p89 and I can only get 9 rounds in them..was shooting in some amatuer shooting matches at a range that consisted of 10 round series and I would have to load a few in the mag then install the mag to chamber a round then pull mag out to get the 10th one in..
Sir,
You just do not 'get it', really, do you?
Now go think about your post and come back & tell us that you have it figured out. Or not. I am sure there are lots of boys here who will help you 'get it'.
ps. you are not Libertarian even a tiny little bit.
You are obliged to educate yourself.
The mags are not illegal - it is just illegal for you to own them there...
Put .45's in them and they'll be legal ten-rounders.
I wouldn't send the mags back, I'd buy a gun they would fit.
Regards.
Bob
About as serious as well...To acquire the possession of a high cap mag post ban is a 5 year felony sentence in Cali and permanant loss of firearm rights. Probably the same there..May not be wise to try and keep any regarless of why since they can be dated and tracked back to source..They even count you shots at the ranges here...
FUD...
It is not illegal to possess "hi-cap" (stupid *** term BTW) in California. It is illegal to buy, manufacture, import, keep for sale, expose for sale, give or lend any large-capacity magazine in California except by law enforcement agencies, California peace officers, or licensed dealers.
Please study the laws before making such statements. Thank you.
And, counting shots at the range? Where do you come up with this stuff?
