S & W Shield Holster

Just wanted to mention that I acquired a new holster for the Shield which is flat out incredible. The maker is Albert Latour from Latour Custom Holsters. I got mine in kydex ( Peeble) with the combat cut black leather. Turnaround was less than 7 days.
I found him on Facebook and it is definitely worth a look.

I have one concern with that holster.I'm wondering is there any issue with the inserts for the belt clip screws contacting the slide when you insert and remove your firearm?

No on his Facebook page there is a picture showing how he covers the recess where the screws come out with suede or leather. I wondered the same thing. I believe that particular one is $65+12 shipping. Ha if you can't tell I've been looking into these holsters myself

That's a nice looking holster. I have a Crossbreed super tuck deluxe for a Glock 27 that I purchased a few years ago and the holster was the most concealable and comfortable one I had up until recently. However, I just discovered Foxx holsters and ordered one for my Shield with CT laser grips. This holster is very similar to the Crossbreed but at only $39.00 shipped, it's a lot more affordable. It's not broken in yet, but I believe that it will be just as nice as the Crossbreed at nearly half the cost. Foxx also makes a single clip leather kydex hybrid just like the one above for $39.00 as well; worth taking a look at. After I placed my order my holster was received within a week.
