Good Morning,

We are still kicking, just not very high. Together, we did a really good, simple breakfast this morning. It helped my attitude a bunch. My MBH made some wonderful homemade biscuits, and I made sure they were browned just right, and did some scrambled eggs and sausage to go with them. The MBH's blood pressure has been high for the last several days and still is this morning, so we are not attending Worship service. I hate to miss! Neither one of us really feel like getting out of the house.

I have another MRI scheduled tomorrow, they are still looking for my brain. :-) I suggest they look for a BB rolling down a 8 lane highway, that will probably be it.

The MBH had another round of surgery to remove a skin cancer, thanks for all the prayers, but don't stop now.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

Good hearing from you again Leon.
Miss Judy is still in my prayers.
My granddaughter's fiance now needs BP meds because he suddenly got high blood pressure as a side effect of the Covid he contracted months ago.

Good Sabbath Leon,

Good to see your Sunday post again!

Y'all are in our prayers!

MBH had a rough week due to a bout of food poisoning she seemed to get when eating out with some friends. She's better now.

We had a stone cold walk this morning. If it wasn't for Quigley, he makes me get out and walk, I would have certainly stayed inside for this go around! The chill factor has been around 20°.

Had a weird day last week. Picked-up a large, sheet-metal screw in my left front tire. I love those heavy off-road tires. It self-sealed, and I was able to make it to my tire guy for the repair. My tire guy is a Latino. His shop is first rate and they have stellar customer service.

But, later I took the truck to my dealer for an oil-change. It's still under warranty. Returning home, I checked the oil level and noticed that the oil filter had not been changed. I had to return to the dealership and straighten out a few people. I didn't show-out too bad, but I had the service manager shaking in his boots. I hate to think what my Dad would have done!

Hopefully, I will make it to our club's old-timer's rimfire match on Tuesday. They now only shoot at 50 yards. I will miss those 100 yard shoots.

Always use hearing protection when at the range!

Have a blessed week!

Mr. Leon, I'm glad to see that you are able to do your Sunday Ramblings today. For me they are always a good start to the week.

Today we're supposed to get above freezing. With my cardiac issues I don't like to be out in sub-freezing weather for very long. I want to hang out my bird feeder so that the winter birds can get something to eat. I rinsed it out and refreshed the birdseed so I'm hoping that it will attract the birds again.

Now i'll check my task list and see what I can get done today. Everyone have a great day.

If I may, I have a couple of praises.

Five months ago my mom contracted Covid. At 88 she had a rough time of it and lost her senses of smell and taste. She has long since recovered but lost 40 pounds as food didn't appeal to her. Her taste and smell are returning and she is eating again and putting weight back on.

As some know, Ruthie contracted Covid at the nursing home last month and was laid up for 10 days with severe aches and a 101.5° fever. She also lost her senses of smell and taste. She, too, has since recovered and is back to work. Three nights ago we were sitting at supper and she looked at me quizzically and said "oh, my"! Her taste and smell return as if someone had thrown the switch to "on". The boys and I never caught it so we all have a lot to be thankful for.

Nice thread. I'm gonna go up-vote it now.

Thanks for the many kind words, and especially the prayers. Don't stop now.

Have a blessed and safe upcoming week.

Leon
