Good Morning Friends!!
It's a great day to be alive, and to enjoy the blessings that I receive each day.

Something good is cooking in the kitchen, because I can smell it! The way the house is built, and where we have the office really works good, as far as kitchen work goes.

The tomato plants are growing like crazy, with dozens of tomatoes and many more blooms on them. I should post a photo, but I haven't.

My brother is bringing us some fresh picked blueberries in a little while. The MBH said something about blueberry jam......

Lots of crazy things going on in the world these days, but instead of dwelling on that, I dwell on the good things, keep my eyes focused on Him, and His word. I also immerse myself in music, the old Martin guitar makes great soothing music. Even though I'm a certified old geezer, I'm not to old to learn a new lick on the guitar, or kill some cardboard at the range.

When I renewed my range membership the other day, the guy said I could shoot all the coyotes if I wanted to, but to leave "his" turkeys alone. :-)

Gotta get ready to attend church in a little while, but since it's still early, I might get out a guitar. I need to keep the calluses in shape.

Have a blessed Sabbath, and be careful out there.

Good Sabbath Leon,

We had a hot muggy walk this morning. I always count it a blessing to be able to walk, undisturbed, with Quigley. We have a prayer spot that, God willing, I strive to get to every day. I leave all my concerns there each morning.

Our .22 match got rained out this week. So, it gave me more time to work with Quigley. We visited the local businesses that allow me to walk him through their stores. It now includes a high-end jewelry store, my local pharmacy, three gun stores and a large motorcycle shop.

Our search and rescue training requires Quigley to be able to mingle with strangers and stay under control. Our only weak spot/distraction, currently, is meeting a female dog. We are working on that. Now that he is 3 years old, he has calmed down enough to meet that challenge.

I put new blades on the zero-turn mower this week. Makes me wonder how much longer this old man can do that kinda work. And, we cut the grass. We are so thankful for all the rain this week.

I washed and waxed my lovely wife's car, for her. I'm sore today, but counting it a blessing to complete that task.

My old buddy, who was a high ranking state official, sold his home and moved to a retirement complex this week. He called me over and to my complete surprise, gave me his personal pocket pistol. "They don't allow any weapons at that place." I was flattered beyond words.

My grands sent me some wonderful Father's Day cards. Here's a photo.

Y'all have a blessed week. God is good!

I've been busy too. Sharpened the blades on the bush hog and cut the fields then came home and got our travel trailer, that my wife has been on me to get ready to use, ready and used it! Took a few days that were just perfect with the dogs and camped/ hiked.
Had a great time but now that we're back and everything is put away I'm kicking my feet up and relaxing for a day or two.
Already planning the next trip!
That's quite the stick that Quigley is playing with.
We're going to have a good year with the tomatoes also. BLTs

I went out for coffee and a BLT at 6:00 this morning .
I shot the breeze with several friends then went home and gassed up the chain saw and cut up some more of the large ash tree I cut down this week.
After a hour of cutting the saw ran out of gas so I put it away for the day as it's so humid I was soaking wet.
We are starting the 2nd heat wave of the year with the weather forecasted to be 90 + degrees and very humid for the next 3 days.

Good afternoon everybody. I was out early to go to the gun show over in York, PA and just got back after stopping off at the VFW west of York to apply alchohol internally to my tired knee.

Today was kind of a rough day. Today marks the 30th anniversary of the death of my mother. She had suffered greatly from ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). When she passed on the preacher said that Mom had escaped from the prison her body had become. I have a hard time believing that it has been 30 years since she passed on.

I hope everybody had a wonderful day today.

Golddollar, I also can't believe the time that has passed since my folks have been gone. In a way they've never really left. Alive in my heart and mind still.
Sorry for your loss. Seems like yesterday.
