Does anyone here have current contact info on these guys? Although they have been out of business for years, I had hoped that maybe one of the owners/employees has is still servicing their old holsters.

Thanks in advance, fuzzy

Until someone pipes in - I searched and found: "...Safety Speed folded a few years ago...original owner passed away...didn't have anyone to forward the business on to, so when he died, so did the company..."

They have been out of business for years sadly.

Most West Coast law enforcement agencies bought duty gear from them.

I have only one Safety Speed rig, shown below.

They are out of business, but they made very high quality holsters, including the so-called Safety Speed holster, which is generically referred to as a "clamshell" holster.

Even this message is quite a bit late for a reply, but when Safety Speed folded, they auctioned off their hardware machinery and related. Fair as I know, just about all the folks scattered to the wind. Actually, a good contact is a shoe repair storefront. They would have the similar heavy duty equipment such as stitching machines. If you need leather repair, I'd suggest checking with Bianchi or Tex Shoemaker. Hope this info helps.
