SASABERANGER... RIP.

I just got an email from him on Aug 29th saying he was not expecting to be hit by the hurricane. He and I did a lot of business by mail when he was still in Wyoming and he sold lots of grips and holsters for me. Thom could always find parts and grips for me if nobody else had them. He and Debbie were great people. This really came out of the blue. Rest in Peace Thom, a good guy to the end.

I'm having a hard time processing this. I just exchanged emails with Thom a week ago! I met him through the late forum member Sandy Jacobs. When Sandy passed in 2012 Thom came down from Wyoming as we tried to help Sandy's widow deal with the guns/accessories left.

I enjoyed meeting Thom and Deb for lunches in Ft. Collins (half way between Denver and Wheatland). In June he sent me a great set of period correct grips for the 66-1 I had just found.

I know how excited he was to move to Alabama. I'm glad that came to be.

My head is spinning over this terrible news.

Edited to add I just spoke with Debbie, this is so sad.

Shocking and saddening news. He was a mainstay here and will be missed. He sold me a holster for my 5906 years ago when I was having trouble finding a quality one. RIP Thom.

Saddened by this news. Thom was a good friend. Missed the Riverton show so didn't get to visit. Debbie.... Condolences to you all.
