I don't know if its because I am getting older and nostalgic or too fat to pick up brass but I have been really having fun with revolvers
I stopped in one of my favorite shops Monday and they just bought two revolvers well than so did I




The Smith is a 15 no dash I dated at 1959 its in nice shape but not perfect or a safe queen (Good because I want to shoot it!)

The Colt is an Official Police 1936 on the bottom it has the
P.L.Q.B we thing Pennsylvania Liquor control board (we think)

In my mind that was a pretty good day

I too am old and a revolver fan. I am fat and will even get down on my knees to get brass when necessary. I Do have my semi-autos. I do like them. Nothing will keep me from liking S&W revolvers the BEST! Had a 1962 Colt Trooper .357. It had a GREAT trigger! It did not appeal to me as a S&W, but I had to find out.

You just can't beat a good wheel gun, and you just picked up 2 great ones. I'm 61 and have been a revolver lover my whole life. I'm currently taking advantage of the market conditions. People are taking 50 cent on the dollar for their old revolvers as credit toward the newest super plastic wonder pistols. In the last year I've picked up a Ruger Speed Six, a S&W model 30-1, a S&W model 36 no dash and a Uberti 1873. I got all 4 of those revolvers for a total of around $1400. Keep trading those revolvers in kids!

Quite a while ago I had a GSG 1911 22lr If you open one up you see lots of plastic and modern slap together and I posted it to get rid of it and a young man offered me a trade for a Colt Trooper III but I had to give him 50 bucks
He traded an Heirloom for a ***
We were both quite happy

I am 61. I am not fat and I don't mind picking up brass. I just really like revolvers. Have you ever noticed how much easier it is to actually hit the target with a Model 15 versus a Glock? I sometimes wonder how much progress has really been made here. I am not bashing Glocks either. I have two and they have been totally reliable with any sort of ammunition.
