SB 2880 Gun Tax

Just heard on the radio that Senate Bill 2880 is up for signing. This would require individuals to note on their income tax form(s) the number of guns they own. A tax of $50 per gun is also mentioned. I've done no research yet.

This has come up before, and there was some truth to it, but a lot of it was not accurate. There was such a bill put forth from my very own lefty Senator Jack Reed. It was an e-mail that went around in 2000, and again recently. It was said that it will never make it out of comittee. I will find the links for you.
