According to multiple sources, SCCY Firearms has gone to the wall. There's even an auction taking place soon of CNC machines and injection molding machines. For those that don't know, SCCY made their name producing low cost, DAO semi-automatics based on the Keltec P-11 design.

Well, I'm not sure that there's much of a market for their guns anymore. You could get a used Shield Plus for a little more than a brand new SCCY...

Have heard bad things about they’re reliability.

Wife's friend has a Gen 1 CPX-2, and it was 100% with 115gr range ammo for us. Mind you, the lady owner has the hands of a 9-year old, so her pulling that long DAO trigger leads to accuracy issues, to be polite.

I picked up a Gen 3 CPX-2 for peanuts last year just for laughs. I found out it does not like the primers on S&B 124gr FMJ. Took two trigger pulls to get those rounds to go. They functioned fine in the other guns I took to the range. Swapped to Blazer brass and I had no more trouble. Rumor control says that SCCY lightened the hammer spring to ease the trigger pull. Seems like they didn't do enough ammo tests afterwards.
