Does anyone have a power port revolver with a scope? Does the front of the scope get any dirtier than non ported gun? Obviously it depends on how close the scope is to the port but I’d be using a mount that goes in place of the rear sight so it’ll be pretty far back on a 6” barrel. Thanks to all.

I have many comped and ported firearms with optics on them
As you mentioned keeping the glass away from the port is important
It is not too different than having flashlights that extend beyond the muzzle

Not a PowerPort but a Magnum Hunter. Yeah that lens tends to get pretty mucked up. I keep alcohol wipes in my range bag for that and they're good for general clean up of any scope or red dot lenses.

I have a scope on my 500 that doesn't seem to be affected by the muzzle brake but it has an 8 3/8 barrel so the front lens is set back from the muzzle.
