Second Model 52

Finally managed to find me a second Model 52. I had to import it from Germany, which took me four months and a lot of aggravation, but it's in mint condition so it was all worth the while. What's even more: I purchased a whole box of spare parts with it, most of them in triple quantity. So if any owner of a Model 52 here is in desperate need of parts... I can help.

Nice gun. I have a similar one in the original box. Some time back, a forum member sent me a PDF article on the Model 52 written in French......I can't read it but the pictures are neat. I'll send you a copy if you PM me your email address. Are you in the part of Belgium that speaks French?

I have the box, too and even that looks like new! I'm in the Flemish speaking part of Belgium, but I hope I know enough french (we all learn both at school) to help you out here. Just send me the text and I'll take a look.

Model 52: My 52-2 came in a box just like yours. I asked what were the other cutouts for; I didn't know that S&W had made a 'long slide' 52. No, they said, the other cutouts are for a Model 41. the same box does for both.
