I've posted previously concerning the S&W revolver's I've purchased but I finally decided to only keep my .38 special revolvers (even though I know I could shoot .38 special out of the .357 revolvers). Just something that kind of floats my boat.....revolvers in .38 special only.

Anyway, I picked up my last one today (that a forum member gave me a heads up about....thanks so much) and took new pictures of all three of the revolvers that I am keeping. The only one I've fired so far is the Gunsmoke Deep Cover but I hope to actually be able to go to the range Saturday or next Tuesday. I'll post my shooting impressions as soon as I get a chance. I have shot the Gunsmoke and it was sweet!

Do any of these have canted barrels? Gosh, since I've read so much about that, it seems that's all I look at now. I think that the 686s may have a tiny tiny tiny bit of cant but nothing I'm sending the guns in for (plus it's probably all in my head anyway since I have to stare and stare and then kinda sorta see maybe some cant.....good grief)!!!

As far as "feel/balance" goes, I sure do love the 3" barrel.

So here they are:
