It accidentally went into the round file, next to the sink.
Anyone ever drink some of this? In 1971, we bought several cases to take to a squadron party. Had a good time.

In1970, 1971, and 1972 it was Haig & Haig Pinch. Three days of liberty equaled three bottles @ $7.00 a bottle. In 1966 it was Wild Irish Rose. 20% alcohol. Strawberry Hill is only 7%.
No, but they should. We had papa san painter who did our nose art and other things. I had him do the back of my helmet. I'm not permitted to say what it said...not here anyway.I don't think they do that nowadays..........

We didn't do anything to our helmets. I was airwing and the only time we had our helmets was during rocket attacks and guard duty. I did keep a short timers calendar at MCAS Beaufort. I had a Seagrams ' ribbon in my utility cover, at 60 days on the left side and at 30 days on the right side. The First Sgt asked me to take it out. I still have the utility cover somewhere with the ribbon still in it.I don't think they do that nowadays..........

When the CO says move...you move smartly. Have fun.Gentlemen (and I do use that term loosely), I will be out of town for a couple of weeks. Been told our presence is required in Pa. for a Nephew's wedding. Also will see an old USMC friend (we traveled around the world on the taxpayer's dime for about 15 years together). So if anyone wants to post cartoons, please feel welcome!
