I have a .40 Shield that I bought from the gun shop I worked at.
Also have a drop in 9mm Remsport barrel for it. Biggest reason I bought that was due to reading of some of the 40's frames cracking, figured a little less stress with the 9mm rounds would not be a bad thing.
Unintended benefit was early on in this last ammunition shortage I could find 40's easier than 9's so I wasn't completely out of luck when buying.
Was just wondering, I've never been much into 40s&w, but I did come into 5 Shield 40 mags and figured I might give one a try since I have spare mags on hand already. LGS near me has a few used 40 shields for 389.00
Get it. That will give you a Shield in each caliber. I have a Shield in .40 and have never had any issues with it. The Shield .40 also gives you versatility in that you can get .40 to 9mm and .357 Sig conversion barrels for it.
