Is anyone carrying the Shield .45 as an EDC? Looking at a Performance Center model for just over $500 and wondering how hard it will be to conceal in warm weather.

Shield 45 for over a year now EDC...Shield 9 before that...carry appendix...have no problem with concealment..none at all..would not change a thing (gun or carry position)....well maybe one change....Shield 9 with magguts +2 extensions in all mags. Giving that idea some serious thought.

I've carried my Shield .45 regularly for the past year. I carry in my front pocket with a DeSantis Nemesis holster, or in a 5.11 holster undershirt. Either way, it's an easy carry.

I EDC the Shield 45 appendix IWB and with some trial and error in finding the right holster for me, have no problem with concealment or comfort.

I have no problem concealing my Shield 45.

Still no Streamlight tlr6 mount for the Shield 45. What is Streamlight thinking?

I carry my shield 45 iwb 3:30 position in a crossbread super-tuckit. Very comfortable and concealable.

The Shield .45 is a great carry gun. Would have killed for one in the '70s when I started packing.

I can recommend the Mag Guts product line. They just need to come out with some goodies for the .45.

I like an in the waist holster that holds a spare mag from Bagmaster. Very high quality, I've never worn one out.

I carry in an Alien Gear IWB mainly in the summer. OWB I make my own holsters. Th Shield 45 semi replaced my Glock 19. It carries a bit easier and what I lose in capacity I make up a bit in Big Holes.
