Shield sight pusher?

The REAR SIGHT, on my Shield was EXTREMELY TIGHT, a gunsmith friend used
3 different pusher units he had to get it removed.

I had tried the brass punch and hammer method beforehand, zero luck with that.

I've got a MGW (Sig) sight pusher for my P-Series Sig pistols that I bought used for $70. It is a very nice unit.

I'm gonna wait a little before I invest in one of these new, small pushers. Maybe they will make one that is designed for the Shield. I'm retired and I can't afford to throw money away on things.

Jackrabbit,
It will work for the front sight, you just have to remove the bottom block, which requires you to remove the screw from the bottom and push the block out, then you will have to shim the slide up. I used wood shims until I got the height to line up with the front sight base. shim the sides of the clamping part so as to not mar your slide and the front sight will push out much easier than the rear sights do. Good luck.

I did a few mods today! I got my new sight pusher in today from sightpusher.com and I installed my apex trigger kit along with installing truglo TFOs which are awesome! I then went ahead and used the forsters gold inlay kit and really makes the gun pop

Just ordered myself one of those sight pushers after noticing the rear sight on my shield isn't centered.
