Should I get the Shield 40???

My shield .40 cal arrived today at the local gun shop. I was so excited I left with a Glock 23. Sorry shield guys, I felt the Glock was far superior for $100 more. More parts, undeniable reliabilty, maybe the shield in a few years.

The LGS will have no problem selling the S&W American Made Shield.

I have a Shield 40 on order. I also have 9mm 's up the whazoo, including a LC9. I think the 40 Shield will round out my choices for carry. I carry a Sig 229 in the winter so I'll have the best of both worlds, and ammo for both. I believe a 40 S&W will do a better job when people are wearing heavy clothes.
