If you are getting out the door for a flat $500, I doubt you will get much better on pricing, if that is your concern. I have never had eyes on a five inch Mod 19, that sounds like a nice package.

typo... it's a 4" not 5"

Those grips look like the ones produced by Rogers Holster Co back in the day. Safariland bought him out so they may be early ones produced by them. Nice grips but couldn't compete with Hogue's monogrip.

There's one in the LGS near me with an asking price of $650 OTD, and yours looks better.

YES YES YES!!! Great price. I got one for a little less last year (or maybe it was earlier this year....nah, I can't be that forgetful!) but the LGS is one that I frequent and they take good care of me.

I've seen those grips before but I am unsure where. Are they marked on the inside? My M19 2.5" came with original grips. Magnas.

Rockets, I think you got your answer. I would have already bought that nice revolver. For the money, you can not loose. Ray

There are dozens of Model 19s floating around on Armslist and Gun Broker that sellers want Model 29 prices for. This weapon is definitely in-line with market value, if not below it. I'd buy it!

Just for reference, two P&R 19 snubs ended recently on Gun Broker. Both had slight handling wear, plain black sights and Pachmayr grips: one got $525, one got $520- reserve not met.

Earlier this year, I paid $500 for a 19-6 snub with Pachmayrs. It ended up being the tightest, most accurate gun I own and even has the best trigger. If the gun feels right, I'd say it's definitely worth $500, and will only appreciate in value.

Many years ago I had a set of grips like that on a 2 1/2" Model 19 I carried on duty. As someone stated above, I think that they were Rogers. They were some kind of plastic (?) with a photofinish wood grain on them. Felt good and were good to shoot with but took away from the concealment element of the gun.

Upon closer inspection, it had a barely visible cracked cone... sad sad...
