Show me a pic of ya 4 legged friend

Mac

Mac is now 19. When he was a kitten we were worried that our other cats and dog would take advantage of his size and youth. His breeder said: "Don't worry that cat knows that he is king of the world, he'll take over the house." Of course he has.

I can't replace these guys.

Mac is awesome.....and I think he knows something we don't:eek:

Thanks fanocool; Yes, we feel privileged to be allowed to minister to Mac's wants. Someone told me that Mac has "The Eye" He just marches straight toward large dogs and they move aside when they see his eyes.

Hey Leonard! Ours could be related!
Actually, I call Oliver my grandson. He belongs to my daughter.

This is Little Bear; our Pomeranian. He's resting on top of his stuffed dog after having his way with it.

What kind of a cat is Mac? He's so beautiful.

Barb;
Mac is a Ruddy Abyssinian, Abby for short. He would be considered an Old Fashioned Abby now, mostly because of his size and color.
Back in the 1940-50 time period a male Abby was expected to be the same color as Mac but weigh at least 16#, Mac weighted 13 at his heaviest. When that photo was taken Mac was near 13#s and hard as an oak log.
Now days the breeders like smaller, lighter colored cats. But I still see cats like Mac around. The females are usually smaller, perhaps 8-9 pounds.
I told Mac that people on the forum liked his photo, he yawned.
