Here's my KLX 250 turned 350 big bore. It's my first bike, I didn't think I had earned the right to ride a Harley just yet. And we like to start them young out west. That's a joke, no children were hurt in the making of that photo. The third pic is my boy on his real first bike (not first real bike). It's a battery powered Buzz Lightyear atv, it does good on the sidewalk and carpet and that's about "all-terrain" that it gets besides a fresh cut lawn.

I don't always ride motorcycles, but when I do, I prefer this Triumph.

I have a BSA A65, Yamaha SR500 and this Cub. If I was a high milage rider I would certainly be riding a BMW, Harley, Gold Wing or some other touring bike. But I like to take off for the day with my Cub and do a little exploring or take one of the road bikes out for a trip through the mountains.

1999 Triumph Legend TT - I like it. 900 cc Triple. It has a lot of idiosyncrasies, and you need a sense of humor to own and work on it.

There are a lot more, mostly BMWs and some old East European 2-strokes. I have become less interested in bikes as objects (although they do have their appeal), more interested in the experiences I have and the places I see on them.

I don't have it anymore. I had to sell it when my wife got sick, and I retired to take care of her, but I really enjoyed it while I had it. I put 20,000 miles on it in about a year, mostly commuting 156 miles round trip 5 days a week. Sun or rain, hot or cold. Didn't matter. Got 60 mpg doing it.

I sold my Harley and have a multi-use urban assault vehicle! I have had motorcycles since I was a kid. I raced motor cross and had street bikes since I had a DL. I have lost count of bikes that came and went. My Harley was getting limited use (bad weather here in Ohio) and sat around most of the time. I opted for an on/off road scooter or 2006 Honda 650L. A big one cylinder thumper 4-stroke.Not as cool as my Harley but a LOT of fun and it goes where I aim it.

In the early seventies I purchased this brand new, the picture is not mine but exactly the one I owned minus the rear rack.

All the Harley and hog riders would laugh at me when they passed and hurt my feelings. Even to this day I never understood why.:D

I really wish I still had it.
