Here are my Model 29-2's. A 6 1/2" and a 5". Both are working guns.

I only have one 29-2 (so far). It has a 5" barrel so I had it lettered and it turned out that it started life with an 8 3/8" barrel. Too bad, but I still like it anyway

Are you sure you have the correct photo? I may be wrong, but the lower gun looks like a model 25. Both are nice looking guns, BTW.

Tony is correct. The Mod 25-2, 6" I placed in that photo was in the bag marked Mod 29-2, 5 1/2" and I photographed it without checking further. You think I would have to have noticed the extra 1" of barrel or at least the front sight. To set things straight, below is the 5 1/2" 29-2 I intended to be in the photo.

I dropped in on the range today to try out the Pachmayr Gripper Professionals I recently acquired. Having small hands my M29 kept biting my trigger finger, now the blighter gives it to me where I guess it should...

I had installed the original stocks for pics but alas had to remove them to test the grippers and I had no intention of shooting it with the wooden stocks.
