Any one that has not joined the NRA...Please do....They will and do fight the legal battle for our freedom...they are only as strong as the membership they have and right now...we all need to be onboard if we care anything about our freedom at all. Ny needs to be challanged and they along with other organizations will do the heavy lifting...and it all takes money and membership. We are facing a battle that we can not afford to lose and the stakes are about as high as its gets...its more than about just our guns......its about our precious freedom and that is priceless.

Well, today the wife and I joined the NRA. I should get my number in a few days and my papers in about 4-6 weeks. We signed up for 5 years to start.

Our numbers and support and everything we have done here..writing our elected politicions....did make a difference...some of them heard us and some of them do get it. Joining the NRA is a small cost for an organization that does actually spend money in court to defend the second amendment...and the second amendment foundation is another one that puts their money toward defending the second. We made a difference and our effort counted for something...we just need to out last them like the VC did to us...and in the end...there is nothing like persistance to win a battle. please think about joining if you have not already...it does make a difference and there is strength in numbers. I know I am grateful for the effort that everyone here has put out to win this first battle...and we will have more to come..Thanks.

Just because we have apparently won this round, there is no time to sit back and relax. Renew. Sign someone else up. Sign your wife, your girlfriend, your boyfriend, your son, daughter, brother or sister. Sign up yo' mama! Do it now!:D

Well said.

I have been a member since the late 1960s. I have always renewed on a yearly basis. Last year, I signed up my daughter. This year I will renew our memberships, and will add my wife. I believe those renewals will be due in October or November. I intend to give a couple of relatives memberships for Christmas presents.

Time for a bump. Big win in Colorado today, facilitated in part by NRA. I am going to see my recruiter tomorrow and sign up two new members for them, my brother and my 94 year old Mama.

Please join NRA. We have the momentum now. Let's keep it.
