I've always avoided crunchentickers but Miss Baby once shot a Sig 225 at a range, and liked it much more than the Glock 19 she took the two day Texas Pistol Academy course with. Recently I found a Sig 225 at Mike's Gun Room in Richardson, and bought it on a whim. Since then
the little bastard has grown on me. Specifically
the fit is great and the double action pull is
heavy enough for me to feel comfortable holstering it with round in the chamber and hammer down. (Never been able to comfortably
holster a Glock ready to fire in an IWB holster -too many accounts of LEO's having AD's that way.) The only problem with Sig I can see is the high cost, and scarcity of the mags, $38 to $49 each, and the few concealed carry holsters available. The good part of all this is when I mentioned buying her a Sig 225 she immediately asked "is that one I have to load the clip myself?". I told her yes, and she said she would stick to her two S&W snubbies, a J frame and a K frame. Would appreciate any comments of the 225, and suggestions for holsters.
