Sig 938

I just got one and like the way it feels in the hand and mimics the 1911.
I haven't shot it yet, but have read that it's a soft shooting 9mm.
The sights are nice, too.
It's only a 7 shot, but it's slim and light which make for a good CC gun, either primary or BUG.
I'll post some after range reports.

I've learned that there can be some confusion with the different models of this 938 that aren't apparent with the advertising.
For one, they do not all have Sig nite sights. Mine being one of those. It is the bronze frame version.
Two, some mags are 6 round, some are +1 which are 7 round with the finger extension, which are what came with mine.
The generic explanation of the gun and magazine, sights are not one size fits all.

I think all newer ones have an ambi safety (for us left handed folks). I love my little pocket gun - fairly accurate and no issues with ammo brands - 4-500 rounds so far.

sig makes about umpteen different models of the 938, so go online and check all of them out.
I like the equinox due to the fiber optic light gathering front sight mine is green backed up by two white dots rear. The beauty of this system is the two white dots are night sights and the front tube has one in front of it, so at night all three of them are glowing.
My equinox came with 2 mags and both of them have the plus one pinky extension, a must for me with my big mitts. I really only get a half of a pinky on the extension.
Thats ok, cause with the non extended mag I only have 2 fingers on the gun.
It works very well when I have to go "small"
I have no trust issues with it as it eats everything I feed it, I have had no failures of any kind in someware of the the neighborhood of a 1,000 rounds. (I quit counting after the first 500) If I don't have time to go to the range, I dump two mags through it every week on my little 50 foot range across the driveway. Same with the Wilson.
I think you will be impressed.
My normal EDC is a Wilson.

I owned one for a bit. I can tell you that "feel" and control are greatly enhanced if you install Houge grips on them.

It has Houge grips on it from the factory. They work.

I put a Hogue wrap grip trimmed to fit on mine. Made it easier to shoot but I didn't feel like I shot it very well with the factory night sights. Maybe me or gun (more likely me). I added a Crimson Trace laser and I am much more comfortable with it and my accuracy increased too. Laser really isn't noticeable in the gun's handling.

Mine's also a Scorpion model(like Klyde's above).

Recently noticed that Sig site no longer offers this 938 type and others on their site(but the Scorpion is available in the P238). Apparently Sig has substantially reduced its P938 line. Maybe because they're so swamped with their U.S. Army P320 orders?

I am completely satisfied with my P938. The Crimson Trace laser really complents it.
