Sig found liable for gun discharge

One tester, I believe his name is Gray found 4 actions needed to occur to cause a discharge. That is 4 failures of internal safeties
Bruce Gray (grayguns) is tied to Sig. UMMV.
I also posted this in another related thread: SIG has announced a free upgrade to the 320 trigger system. Details at https://www.sigsauer.com/p320-voluntary-upgrade-program. Looks like it might solve whatever the issue(s) is/are. [Wonder if the DOD is going to take them up on the offer? :) ]
That is 7 year old news......

My impression? Sig, and Sig's attorney's have totally blown it with their 7 year long "we need to deny everything" legal defense.

This, exactly. I've got a P365 I absolutely love and trust for safe carry. I'm also maniacal about ensuring my holster is clear if I need to re-holster while on my belt.

Had SIG come out and said "we don't think this is possible, but we're willing to test and prove up the results of those tests" and then done so - with a large number of guns across the P320 family - they'd be in a much better position to assert "we can't find a way to make the P320 fire while holstered without any form of trigger pull, so we believe it's a problem with light-bearing holsters and things getting in the holster easier." As-is, it looks like avoidance because they're simply not publishing results of tests they've done around vibration, "dirty" sear ledges, tolerance stacking between sear and striker, "loose" slides on frames, etc.

I have, however, purchased/traded for two P320's in the last two weeks - an AXG Classic X-Carry and a Legion X-Carry - at a significantly lower price/trade point than I could have a couple months ago. Folks either panic selling, or selling because their sport/range no longer allows them to shoot the gun there.
