It'll be a year in May since I bought my P365X, so thought I would post where I am with it.
I removed the extended mag release that led to my inadvertently dropping the mag unintentionally now and then. I've come to the conclusion that needing to reload in an SD encounter is a remote possibility. (I posted elsewhere about taking a course with John Correia, Active Self Defense, who said they had watched ~50,000 videos of civilian SD encounters and only recently found one case, in Pakistan, where a guy with a 1911 had reloaded.)
I have installed the maggutz spring in my two 12-round mags making them 14 rounders, so I carry 15.
Bought a ten-round mag for trips into neighboring Washington state where they have a reduced capacity, 10 rounds, mag requirement.
My extended safety broke. Oddly, the unused right side of the ambi broke off. Waited, unsuccessfully, for a replacement from July or August, but meanwhile the Sig factory safety has become normal for me. No longer a problem.
Got a Lobo enhanced pancake which I like a lot.
I think I've about 2K round through it. No FTFs since my first range visit when I had one FTF, IIRC, which, in retrospect, may well have been due to my unfamiliarity.
I have switched from a revolver hold to the now pretty much standard two thumbs forward hold and it has come to feel natural to me.
Great gun. Glad you fellas talked me into it!
