Thank you for your input. I do realize that I am the one to make the ultimate decision.
Yesterday, during a PPC match, I encountered carpal tunnel induced limp wristing with my 1911 and hardball. Yes, I do realize that carpal tunnel is a potentially temporary issue, but it is still disconcerting. After the match, when shooting 9mm vs the 45, I found that I was able to better control the 9mm than the 45. (As a note, after shooting a 45 1911 for almost45 years, yesterday was the first time I had issues with FTEs, which I attribute solely to the carpal tunnel.)
I am looking at either the G26 or the P365 as a candidate for predominantly pocket carry when I am in a free state. While my HSc was the prime candidate for pocket carry, it has been shelved due to an AD caused by a bent firing pin when the slide automatically went into battery. Once it is repaired, it has to regain my trust. Virtually all of the shops that I frequent won't allow me to pocket a pistol, so an in-person comparison of a G26 and a P365 is out of the question, hence my original question.
I also realize that the Sig is under a dark cloud due to the discharge issues of the P320, fortunately the P365 I am contemplating can be had with a manual safety.
Thanks!
