Sig P365

If I can consistently hit a 6 inch plate at 15 yards and my 10 and 12 inch plates at 25 yards, I’m pretty darn happy.

I was hitting the Dueling tree at 15 yards with it, very easily. The sights are awesome. They’re set up as combat sights, meaning you cover the target with the front sight. Even at 25 yards.

I’m only up to about 500 rounds in it. No failures of any sort.

Some guns fit some folks better than others. Here's my two P365s and my 3" 686+, all at 30'. Yeah, I know, apples and lemons.

Saw one a few weeks ago while cruising the lgs’s with a forum member who has two. It was priced at $459.99. I left it there.
I have plenty of carry guns.

Right handed, hitting directly left of center.....at least knowing the variables that can affect point of impact will give me something to work on.......I also ordered the Sig Lima 365 green laser to see if I can improve my aim with an aid.....no judging I am old with even older eyes.

Sig makes great stuff but the design of their P365 green laser leaves a lot to be desired. The activation button doesn't protrude far enough to be activated without a death grip on the gun, and it's placement is not ergonomically correct. Even with the death grip you have to assume a very UN-natural grip to activate the button which plays havoc with shot placement.

And, by the way, if the blister pack is opened they won't take it back. How do you even know it is not defective until you open the package? They gotcha! VERY un_Siglike behavior.

I purchased from Planet optics......great customer service so if the laser isn’t up to snuff they have an easy return policy.

I did read some of the reviews but I am willing to take a chance on it at least for range use.

Well I finally shot mine and I am going to have to learn a different grip. I think I am holding the thing to tightly. Point of impact was to the left of point of aim. I called Sig customer service and the rep said he had the same problem with his. So next time out I will lighten up on the grip and see how it goes. I did adjust my aim a few degrees right and I was punching out the center of the target. It was very strange to have to aim off center to hit center......
Every time I shoot a polymer pistol, it groups a couple of inches to the left at around 25 yards. Last Friday, I shot a buddy's new M&P and the same happened. I am far from new to pistol shooting and shot bullseye for decades, as well as, several other disciplines, including PPC, double-action, with a revolver. I now have a Sig P 320 compact and a Sig P 365. I hold with a tight grip..."Tight grip=tight group!" My solution to grouping a couple of inches left was to move the rear sight to the right a little. After over 1,600 rounds through my P320 and over 1,200 round through the P 365, my groups are still centered after a sight adjustment. I think that it has something to do with my eyes or eyeglasses, but who knows? If you can hold a good group at 25 yards, I'd just move the sights. Just a tip: A sight pusher comes in handy and a little movement goes a long way. I used a pencil and shaved the lead to a fine point to make a witness mark on the slide and sight.
