So have a 2.0 coming... has standard 3 dots. I typically will use Ameriglo Tritium or Hackethorn type sights, but was thinking maybe this time try something different, ie maybe the HiViz Fiber Optics that the Miculec's like so much. any feedback on them or FO in general? I do have FO on a Colt/Walther 22 - it's only bright outside of course, sometimes on indoor ranges they can be dark. I don't shoot indoor very often, but you never know when you might need to.

Actually I wouldn't mind an adjustable rear - I assume full size 1.0 and 2.0's take the same sights, as I don't see any listed specifically for 2.0's. I'll start looking for some low profile adjustable's too.

I've put TruGlo TFX Pro sights on my last 3 pistols. (an M&P and 2 Glocks) They just plain work for my old eyes. Tritium vials plus fiber optic.

Ditto this...Use the TFX Pro Day/Night sights (Orange/Green) on any gun that is getting night sights

Along the lines of "something different" I decided to try the Big Dot XS sights... they get mixed reviews, but for older eyes/astigmatism/etc they seem to get mostly positive. Ordered from Brownell's so if they are terrible I can exchange them for something else.

I also looked at the LPA sights, they are the only elevation and windage adjustable rear sight it appears for the M&P line, but decided on a less costly option to try out first :).

I installed Trijicon sights on my M&P 2.0 9mm. (do not push on the front sight against the post to install). I shot indoors some time ago with a Browning HP with stock sights, the darker shooting lines really told me I needed something I could see and older eyes don't help matters.
The M&P is my only polymer pistol, got it just to see what it was all about. Still prefer all metal pistols but the M&P works surprisingly well. I'd like to try the 45 cal version.

I like the Dawson precision adjustable fiber optic. Super bright and I can adjust for whatever ammo I'm shooting.

Well the Big Dot/XS was a bust. It works I guess, but it so different than what I am used to and what I have on several other pistols, so I'm going in a different direction. Either the TFX Pro Tritium or something with an Adjustable rear.

I had been considering the XS8 sights rather than the big dots. However, I got a set of Trijicon HD XR's and put them on my Glock 23, and love them. Even with aging eyes I'm able to pick up the front sight quickly. The front post is thin, but the air between the rear sight and front post makes it stand out. I'll be putting them on my 2.0 pistols soon. Pricey yes, but if it works well, it's worth it. It's easier seeing targets at 25 plus yards with that thinner front sight post too. I went to a store who sold pistols for law enforcement, and they had some pistols they haad the XR's on and let me look at it in a dark room before I purchased them - great customer service - yes it still lives !

Sights are a personal preference. I like Trijicon HD XR's with the yellow front sight. YMMV.

Picked up a set of TFX Pro Tritium & FO's, installed them last night and they look nice. Will try them out in the next couple days.

Anyone have experience with a RMR on a M2.0?

I had primary machine mill my M&P 2.0 45acp for an rmr. They do great work at a reasonable price.

I like TFOs a lot and have them on all my Glocks. They are good at night and good in the day. Many night sights are pretty mediocre in the daytime and daytime is when I do most of my shooting.

I also like the Trijicon HD with the big orange front sight ring. The big downside to the version I have on a Walther P99 compact is the high and very sharp corners on the rear sight. I see absolutely no need for such a skin shredder on a handgun sight. I believe it was Jeff Cooper who said a handgun should feel rounded and alluring in the hand. The HD set I have is definitely not that.

Of all the brands of night sights I've owned over the years, the TFOs are my favorite of the bunch. But as another poster said, it all just personal preference.

I ran f.o. on my 2.0 full size when they first came out and only had white dot. I liked them and ran red in front and black in back. What I didn't like was finding my gun on my night stand or how sometimes a certain color would disappear. I think I like the trijicon tritium sights because they both glow and i can pick up the white ring. The tritium/f.o. sights I'm interested in trying at some point. If the vials go bad I'll try them out. I do miss my blacked out sight though.

My go to replacement sight has been the Ameriglo I dots. Have them on quite a few M&Ps, including my 3.6" M&P 9C.

I sure would like to see these white outline with post LPA sights for my M&P's
