Sigma SW9VE Extractor broken

Today, after about 2000 rounds (all types of American ammo) across 2-1/2 years, my 9VE failed to extract today.

After several different ammo changes and help from the range officer, the gunsmith looked at it and found the extractor had broken.

I have anorder into the S&W warranty repair center now and am awaiting a return shipment number.....

So....how can I go about ordering a SPARE EXTRACTOR so that when it breaks the next time, I don't have to send the pistol into S&W?

Thanks for the lead on where to by an extractor....and what is that part number?

Oops...I didn't know that I could ask such simple question of them.

generally you will have to pay out of pocket because warranty only covers work done by factory, but it is far better to shell out a few bucks than ship your gun

Sigma SW9VE on the way

Received the RMA from S&W this morning at 3:00am, the 3rd business day after I contacted them.
The FedEx man picked it up this afternoon for its 2-day delivery to the armourer in Springfield MA...
I'll continue to update as the repair saga progresses.

It's back!!!!Arrived FedEx overnight an hour ago.
The 1 page document inside box says:
"Replaced Extractor"
"Range Tested/Meets Spec"

I'll be taking it to the range next week to check it out.

From my email request for a Return Authorization until receipt of repair handgun: 19 days (including 2 way shipping and 3 weekends.)
