My 3rd model I believe was a parts gun. Barrel does not number to the gun, Side plate looks like it wasn't original, has an 8" barrel. Have replaced rebound slide & spring with .32 HE parts and work perfectly. Shooting it last night, I had several light hits, and FTF. The strain screw was tight, but today I took it out and measured it, can anyone tell me the correct length of a 3rd model strain screw? Mine is .768".
Also, the firing pin (when held in a fired position) extends past the recoil shield .037".

Thinking that one or the other is too short.

Also, If anyone can tell me how to "tighten" up the lockup I would appreciate it.

4/11/09 Adding about .020 shim increased the pressure enough that only once in a great while it fails to fire.

See new post height question.
