i have a question i have heard from a freind that heard from a ex military freind that the mp 10 use cheap parts made chine is this true because i am really intrested in the mp 10 thats from the help
My 1.5 cents worth.... I would be willing to bet this rifle is all USA made, but haven't checked it out. The m&p 10 definitly contains proprietary parts, but they seem to function fine for me. I'm not one to be rough on firearms anyway (8+ years as an 0311/usmc and I never damaged a weapon once). The AR platform is tough enough for the Marine Corps, its good enough for me. From my experience people that abuse weapons are the ones most likely to complain about lack of replacement parts. The "kick" is minimal for a .308, the accuracy for me has been excellent. MY Nikon m308 is an excellent optic (about $500.00 including mount) has worked flawlessly. I have 45-degree offset sights that work great also.My m&p 10 is one of the best rifles I have ever purchased/used (my m&p 15 is a total winner also, and it is a piston PSX model) and I love mine. If you get one, i'll bet you will love it too. Again, just my 1.5 cents worth. Semper Fidelis.
