So annoying - “Revolver” Glock sound effects

I've gotten to the point that I expect it to happen on every show that has anything to do with a firearm. It just doesn't bother me any more.

The glock doesn't have an exposed hammer? I didn't know that, never handled one. And never ever will touch one. Lol

Gold Monkey

one of my faves is an episode in tales of the gold monkey where the hero is using 3 different handguns in one fight scene.

If the show was a good one, I'd never notice or pay attention to a gun's sounds. Never heard of "Lucifer" but if it's like so many of today's shows, I'll bet it's not very good. It's easier to find faults if you're not absorbed by what you're watching.

Watching "Monster's Ball" now and in two different scenes a four inch Model 15 is introduced w/the cocking sound, and the hammer is in the double action/uncocked mode.

Even though there's a safety at about 1/4 cock of the hammer in the old lever actions, they still have to cock and work the lever anyhow. Then after not firing, they don't de-cock it; just slide it back into the saddle.
I think it was in a Jerry Miculek Youtube video that he proved you can't cut a hang man's rope with one shot of the .44, and other caliber rifles. He tried and couldn't do it.

Was watching a Hawaii Five-O episode some years back. Close-up of a Smith 686. Trigger pulled, cylinder indexed, weapon fired, followed by the sound of a spent casing hitting the floor. I guess the sound editors either forgot to delete it, or figured no one would notice.

They've been making these bonehead errors for years. While flipping through the channels this morning, I saw Sgt. Schultz carrying a Krag.

The movie Crisis had all kinds of crazy gun noises coming from different semi-autos.

"Artistic license".

Lol.

Being a good old Western fan,
I much prefer the 50-shot
Colt Single Action Army.
And it comes with plenty
of revolver clicks and even
a ricochet every other shot.
