So what handguns are you looking for next?

I really can't afford to buy guns at all in retirement. But if I could find a layaway deal I'd be looking for a 2nd generation G19, or an M15 or 67. Perhaps an RIA or Norinco 1911.

In my fantasy world it would be an immaculate 3913LS or DS2, but that's purely dreaming.

Looking for a 638 2 1/2" anyone know where I can find one and about how much I can expect to pay?

NOT A HOLY GRAIL GUN BY ANY MEANS

Another Ruger MKll in the am. This one with the 5 1/2" bull barrel to go with my MKll Gov't 6 7/8" bull bbl, all VQ'd out & large compensator a real (FRANKENPISTOL). I'm hoping the shorter bbl will shave a few 1/10's of a second off my steel/pins time, & I will be able to shoot it in the stock class. We shall see. The extra mags & ammo thrown in were the clincher.

I'm always on the look out for any S&W wheelgun. Pre-lock get's the nod, but I'm not going to pass up a deal on one with a lock.

No real model numbers I'm looking out for, just the right deal.

Nothing that is over 4 inches in barrel length.

I'm looking for a 15-4 4" to go with my 18-4 4". My 18-4 came with numbered grips and original box. I hope I can do that good with the 15-4. I'm not too particular about condition because I want a shooter, but I like knowing the gun is original and having the box.

686+ in 3 inch.....would prefer no-lock but have never actually seen one in any instantiation.....maybe they're a "Myth & Wesson" !

I think only one firearm that I have purchased so far was the one I set out to buy. A number of em I went to the store to look at one and bought something else or didn't have a specific model in mind.
I would like to add a revolver, most likely .38/.357 or maybe .44 magnum, not a snub nose but also likely not more than 6" barrel.
And early next year I am thinking I'll have the wife pick out something for herself with a pink or purple frame to go with her Hello Kitty rifle.

I have been thinking of the 27-2 in 3 1/2 inch a lot lately.
I may end up selling my one Python to do it. Or some other thing.
I am sure it will not be an outright purchase. Or an inheritance.
Too bad my father collected wives (5) instead of Smith and Wessons :(

940 547 or whatever I come across with the price right..
You all know what I'm talkin about..
The deal of the day!!

With what ammo has gone up too I guess a few 22lrs are in my future..

Have a 4" shooter Grade python on the way to my FFL right now,

then a 3" 625,
and then a 3" 586 L comp,
More Colts, More Smiths, maybe even the odd ruger if I can find a Security six, only model ruger I like much

I have most of the more common Smiths that I want, so Grail guns will come slow. I'm also sidetracked by S&W 3rd Gen autos right now.

In no order:

4" 15
3" 'Jovino' 60
2" 63
4" 63
3" 650
3" 547
3" 686 CS-1
5" 629
5943
4506
4586

Model 16. Either .32 S&W long or .32 H&R mag.
986 (have to see it before I buy it, though!)
Otherwise, mostly wishing for things that don't yet exist.
658 .41 mag
616 .32 something or another.
940 with factory night sights.

No particular order

Colt Python
Model 13
Model 19
model 64

The last two because they were revolvers issued by the two police departments I've worked for.

Unfortunately, whenever I get some money saved up for one of the above, I end up spending it on a gun I happen across. The last time I saved up for one of those, a California Highway Patrol model 67 followed me home.

I just put in a 'special order' through my LGS for a 929PC, will be curious to see how long that takes.

The other one I'm looking for is a 6" P&R 66 when/if I can find one.

I don't think about it too much ( it would drive me crazy )
#1...547
#2...N frame .44 Special
#3...329 PD
#4...15, 2"
Well, time to get back to reality! Bob
