i went to walmart this past mon-fri and was dissapointed. only one day did i score some .40 and i just got it to make my trips worthwhile. i did however see they got.223 that day too (100 value pk). i dont have a need but my sis' bf needed some so in hindsight i shouldve got a box. but i learned this wednesday my local academy stocks on mon, wed, fri. so i got 3 50 bricks of 22lr on wednesday and i got 2 375 packs on friday. i may get flamed but even though i dont have a 9mm i bought 4 boxes this week and used them to trade for boxes of .40 which saves me a few bucks per box. so i went from having 400 rounds of 22lr and 50 rounds of .40 to ~1300 rounds of 22lr and 300 rounds of .40. i think ill just start blowkng off going to walmartbcause i was there 7am all this week and it wasnt very rewarding. at academy i got ther just before they opened and was the 10-15th person in line and still got what i wanted. i figure at least im set for a week if not more. we'll see if i can keep myself from shooting more than 100 rounds of each this weekend.
