I have a handful that are pretty nice. This is one, a 280 Rem built by Roger Green on a fairly rare (1 of 50) small ring, double square bridge "Mauser" actions made by Pete Grisel prior to joining up with Don Allen and designing the Dakota action.
It may not seem like it is that outstanding but here is the factory hand select wood on my daughters "Chipmunk". Also that is factory engraving on the wood - Her name and birthday are edited out. The other side is even prettier:

Howdy,
My stainless 10-22 target goes in and out of this depending on hunting or bench duty.
I painted it and all tape lines are below the clear. Flames are four color, but it is hard to get a good picture.
It's getting old but still looks pretty good, it's just a little too "happy" to drag around the squirrel woods.

This is a DWM mauser custom made with American Black Walnut. I designed the rifle, shaped and finished the stock and had Herb Reiley, from Jonesborough, TN. put it together for me .
Bought the gun to get the wood. Shown with .22LR match bbl. has bbls. for .17, .223, 30/30, .357max, .22Hornet.
Shoots nine calibers in all. Bbls, all set up with Redfield 4x
3/4" scopes, and mounts, bbl. bands for slings.
