Some 1006 questions

Bare with me here as I'm a new guy and new to S&W pistols. I've done some searches here and elsewhere but can't find out the weight of the 1006. I know it's probably the heaviest of Smiths auto's.
Also, I'm picking up a very good condition 1006 next week and I'm wondering what, if anything, as a new owner I should consider replacing to keep her up to spec or better.
I cannot wait to shoot the 1006. The only other 10mm I've shot was a Delta Elite probably 15 years ago and she was sweet and very accurate. I'm sure that I'll have other questions in the near future so thanks in advance. I'm glad I found this place as it seems to have the most S&W 10mm info by far of any site.

38 ounces.

Unless it has been shot a lot, probably nothing. If it has, a new set of springs, especially the recoil or mainspring.

The 1006 is the most available of all the SW 10's 26,978 produced in the early 90's. I have 3 of them and would not part with any. Great gun very well built a real workhorse.
